This is Sonic's first game on the Master System and is still a very good game to this date. If you have played Sonic 1 on the Genesis then you will see that this game is very different from that version. It has some of the same levels as the Genesis Sonic but everything else is different. (Story)You take control of Sonic the Hedgehog on a mission do stop Dr Robotnik from taking over the world and saving your friends along the way by freeing them from Dr Robotnik's badniks. As well as finding the 6 Chaos Emeralds as well. (Graphics)Graphics are as no way as good as the Genesis Sonic games but they still look good. If you have played this game on the Game Gear you will see that the Graphics on this version look much better. (Sound)Sound is brilliant. Each level has it's own twist of song that you will find very catchy. My favourite song on this game would have to be the Jungle level. (Gameplay)Just simple forward and jump. So you won't have a problem being able to play the game. (Value)You won't find all the Chaos Emeralds first time round and you will want to play this game again. With a total of 6 levels each with 3 acts plus bonus levels when you collect more than 50 rings. (Overall)This is my favourite Sonic game on the Master System. It's a great little Sonic game with plenty of replay value.
