Sonics second outing is still to this day (02/02/2006) THE best Sonic the Hedghog game made. Everything about this game is awesome, the wonderful and colourful graphics, excellent gameplay and level design and probobly the best soundtrack ever created for a platformer. This also had excellent 2 player modes where you and a friend could control both Sonic and Tails, it was implemented very well and worked great. The levels have great variation and excellent design with a good use of colour. The casino level is an amazing level and you can even have a go at a fruitmachine too!! It also has an excellent bonus stage with you racing down collecting rings!!!
Anyone even with a passing intrest on platformers should play this, even though it's well over 10 years old, the game still holds well.
