GameSpot wouldn't know a good game if it bite them in the butt. Sonic the Hedgehog is really a good game. Following in the footsteps of Sonic Adventure, this new game takes the series to a new level. Here's a rundown:

Good: Excellent graphics, character models look amazing, action stages are more fun to play, each character has it's own unique abilities, several different paths to take in each level, great music and cutscenes, most intense storyline in any Sonic game.

Bad: Load times are frequent and long. Some action stages won't open til you complete certain town missions. Some town missions are rather boring, and to be frank, Eggman just isn't himself anymore.

If you've played the past 3D Sonic games and loved them, get this game. It's worth it.
