Sonic 3 has a better story plot than the last, truly one of the very best Sonic games known on any gaming console.

Sonic 3 is when the famous character, Knuckles, is introduced, Sonic 3 still holds emotionless and speechless characters, but the story plot is understandable, and this game actually has a story plot hta can be easily comprehended. Sonic 3 is when the Chaos Emeralds are better introduced, and this game is further developed in the future GameCube 3-D Platform versions of Sonic. This game consists of stages and levels that are sufficiently long enough, and the stages are beginning to present a sort of more 3-D environment, the background, middleground, and foreground are rather well defined in this game. Music once again fits well with each stage, and boss battles seem slightly more epic. The game's levels also contain various paths, allowing more ways to reach the end goal than the first. In Sonic 3, Sonic's future rival and ally, Knuckles is being tricked by Dr. Robotnik. This game is also accessible with the Sonic & Knuckles Sega cardtrige, which allows gamers to play stories using Knuckles as well. This is what I, and many other Sonic fans, would consider one of the very, very best Sonic games created on any gaming console.
