Now this is a Sonic game. This game along with Sonic & Knuckles is my favourite Sonic game of all time. This game is perect there is nothing wrong with this game at all. Sonic 1 and 2 where great but it has gone from great to brilliant. (Story)This game sets you off straight of after Sonic 2 where Sonic and Tails are in there plain with all Chaos Emeralds untill they come across Knuckles (a new character) who steal's the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic and runs off. Sonic and Tails are on Angel Isand the home of Knuckles and also the crash site of Dr Robotniks Death Egg (which was thought to have been destroyed in Sonic 2). Dr Robotnik has tricked Knuckles into thinking that Sonic has come to steal the master Emerald for but realy it is he who wants the Emerald to power his Death Egg. So now you have to watch out for Dr Robotnik and Knuckles. There are 6 levels with 2 act's on each one and you fight Dr Robotnik on every 2nd act. But now you have to fight a boss on every 1st act. These bosses are easy than the ones with Dr Robotnik because they are just a strong Badnik. As usal you also have to go through the levels getting the Chaos Emeralds which is a different way of getting them on this game. Insted of going into a Star post you have to find a giant ring. The special stages are different as well in stead of collecting rings you must walk into all these blue ball's but onece you touch them they turn into red balls and if you touch one of the you lose. There are Star posts on this game which you can go into onece you have a certen amount of rings. When in side you play a little mini game where you collect rings and other items like a sheild e.g. fire,bubble,normal and electric. (Graphics)The graphics on this game are the best ever on a Sonic game. Sonic looks so good his spikes move when he runs. The detail of everthing on this game is perfect the backgroungs look amazing. (Sound)Sound is amazing on this game. The boss songs are fantastic and the level songs are great. (Value)There is tons of value in this game. You can be as Tails on this game and for the first time fly with him. Plus with the ability to save your game data so you can continue with it later is brilliant. You will never get bored of this game you will want play it again and again. (Gameplay)Perfect. Not one problem with gameplay. (Overall)This game is perfect it is a must for a Sonic fan and even if you are not you will want to play this game. If you have never played this game get Sonic Mega Collection and play it on there you won't want to put the control down when you start to play it.
