Sonic 3 great game, but worst Sonic game in series on the genesis console other than Sonic Spinball

Yes Sonic came back for a third round on the genesis and this time they brought another new character. Sonic 3 I find to be the worst Sonic game (other then Sonic Spinball)on the genesis, Sonic is back stopping Dr. Robotnik again tracking him down after his death egg crashed from taking over the world (last level in Sonic 2). I don't have a lot to say about this one theres nothing really different from Sonic 2's game design: same type of levels(except that snowboard part in the ice level), same type of baddies, stop Robotnik blah blah blah. But they have added some new features in Sonic 3 they have added a new character named Knuckles who unlike Sonics speed he uses his fists hence the term Knuckles. Theres no real reason why Knuckles is here Robotnik found him basically and tricked him into stopping you he just popped up from the ground and stole your emeralds. Knuckles is one of those characters whose really neither bad nor good he does basically what he wants and does what he has to get what he wants kind of like the bada** character of the game. From what I played you don't get to play as him in the game. Knuckles is basically there to get in your way by pushing buttons. Tails is back also where the second player can make him fly "amazing" they improved since Sonic 2.Tails can only fly for a short time though and he is useful for carrying Sonic around to secret areas but other than that nothing new to report. Oh yeah two player mode where you can play as Knuckles Tails and Sonic sucked compared to Sonic 2. To kill your opponent by shamlessly running around in circles uhhhh when does that get fun and lap races. Anyway I know I made this game sound bad in some parts but I gave it a 9.3, there wasn't a lot to talk about that was already there from Sonic 2 and 1, just check my other reviews where I talk about the positve things of all th good Sonic games hope this review didn't suck Anarki003. Ohhh and I just updated this review because when I wrote it I...I didn't beat it okay, I got stuck on that carnival level where that cylinder goes "up" and "down" so I wrote my review because I got frustrated but I beat it now and it is actually quite fun. I promise not to review until I beat the game Anarki003.
