The Good- The best graphics ive seen on the genesis, First sonic game that lets you save, Blue sphere is really fun, Good music that suits the levels well, Lots of massive levels each with 2 acts and a boss at the end, Fun bosses, First sonic game with Knuckles, Good story, Lasts a long time, Tons of secrets in each level, Collect all chaos emeralds and you can become super Sonic,super Knuckles,Or super Tails,Power ups like the bubble and running shoes, Tails can help you if u choose sonic and tails as your character and tails can be controlled by a second player, 2 player races and a sound test, You can connect Sonic and Knuckles cartridge to this game which lets you play through both Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles levels and you can get super emeralds which can make you an even better super sonic, The cheat debug mode lets you put objects around the levels
The Bad- Tails is stupid as the computer almost useless and you cant keep up with sonic using him on the second controller
If you add Sonic and Knuckles to this game you got the best sonic game ever made.
