The Sega Icon returns in an outstanding sequel, showing that greatness can be renewed.
The downside is that the game itself is shorter than the second one, but the game itself maintains the stand alone title.
Story: Low (better than the rest, but a new nemesis to block your path isn't a substitute for dialog and meaningful clashes)
Graphics: High (maintains the style of previous)
Controls: Above average (maintains style of the former)
Music: High (Iconic)
Sound: High (Iconic)
Game play: Above average (new abilities and better co op play make this for an exciting ride but falls short due to similar level designs, similar bosses, and short game play)
Replay: Above average
This game is the worse of the three put out, but that is worse than it actually is. The game is still good and has high quality. The game itself sets the stage for the pinnacle tweak the 2d series.
