Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 might be good to play on the console but on a touch screen make cause more difficult

User Rating: 6 | Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I IOS
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 for the IPhone is a 2d side scroller like previous 2d Sonic games. The game takes after Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles for the Sega Genesis, where Dr. Eggman a.k.a Dr. Robotnik is up to no good again. The gameplay in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 like the retro Sonic the Hedgehog series but added stuff like the homing attacks but there are sometimes when Sonic is blast off he suddenly stop in mid-air and if your not good with your left thumb as to slide the touch screen joystick, it cause Sonic to look up and for the right thumb, if you let go but accidentally press it by mistake will also stop Sonic in mid-air and fall to death in some zones, when Sonic is in full speed, he is much slower than the Sonic in the Genesis versions as he sprinting. The graphics for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 on the IPhone is good for the eye, but Sonic seems to be in 3d polygon as the level seems like in 2d. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1's music decent for some zones and acts. Overall Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is good if you can forget the controls on the touch screen and little bugs in the game.

Gameplay: 5- Same as other Sonic titles, put into a 2d side scroller, but the touch screen makes it harder.

Graphics: 7- Nice remake background stages from the Genesis Sonic titles.

Sound: 7- Good music and other noises are still the same as the Geneses Sonic titles.

Value: 5- Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is a good game to remember the old title back in the Genesis days, but not very good on for touch pads applications.
