Sonic, stick with the adventure games. Will you?

I first played this in the Sonic Mega Collection for the Gamecube and it certainly wasn't my favorite. This is basically a pinball game featuring Sonic as you control him with flippers like you do in an ordinary pinball game. I only played for the first hour and I noticed that something was wrong. I just can't seem to get anywhere in the courses and I think sometimes I get lucky for going in the right direction. It feels like each strike of the flippers has to be precise in order to progress to another part of the stage. For a Sonic, the pace is pretty slow and Sonic is normally known for speed. Nice try for trying to unlock a page in the book of video game genres, but this simply won't do. Please! Stick with your day job and run like a cheetah.
