Aww, Sonic the Hedgehog. One of the most recognizible characters in the world. He may now be on a disastrous videogame streak, but when the Sega Genesis was popular, Sonic turned the world upside down with the best gameplay and graphics of its time. The story is simple. Robotnik is taking over and Sonic is the only person who can stop him. Destroy robots, or Badniks as they are called in the comics, and save the tiny animal that is trapped inside. What made this game stand out was the rings and the boss battles. The boss battles may look simple, but they are actually very legendary in our time. This game puts Mario to shame and no matter how many bad 3D games that Sonic Team makes, the original is always better. We need another side scroller like Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance 1,2, and 3.
