Is sonic unleashed something to buy or something to ignore read the review to find out.
Graphics: The graphics for the game looks good for a ps2 game but the werehog looks ok it feels like they could have done better but at least sonic and everything else looks good.
sound: The sound is awesome! I love endless possisbilities and dear my friend which plays at the ending credits. I like the day time songs and the night time song which is like a remix of the day time songs.
sound effects: From rings to jumps to punches to dashing all sound great just great.
Voice acting: 4kids voices are known to suck and they ´have been terrible in the past sonic games but in sonic unleashed they are actually not that bad Griffith sound really good but the werehog sound really good i had my doubts about Griffith but he has inproved alot. Chip sound good to he's voiced by Pete Capella the same voice actor who voices Silver the hedgehog. Dan Green as the ice cream man is just awesome i would but anything from a guy voiced by Dan Green xD Eggman sounds awesome as always. Amy is little annoying but she sounds ok. Tails sounds decent not really good but not too bad. Professor Pickle sounds ok can't really say much about him.
Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome the day time stages are just fun and fast everytime you play as sonic you wan't to run and not stop this game as the speed and feel that we have wanted for so long good job Sega! as much speed as it is theres also the werehog he looked cool in the trailer but hes soooooo slow and the stages are sometimes a pain but some of them are fun too play and the werehog aint to bad but he should have been a little faster but the werehog is fun but sometimes a pain.
Bad parts of the game: I absolutly HATE the controlls for the werehog the R2 and L2 buttons are useless in the game and the dashing is activated by by moving the left analog stick twice this wouldn't seem as a problem but it is if you are on a cliff for exemple and you easily wan't to move and youre slowly moving the analog stick the F***** dash activates and kills you its a pain in the A*** and thats why the dashing should have been acting by either holding down R2 or L2 button! and the Eggman land stages only the day time levels are a pain on eggmanland becouse theres so much thing that can easily kill you and you move to fast on the stage!!!
Good parts of the game: As much as i hate Eggmanland it is fun and challenging and addictive but the werehog levels on Eggmanland is the best stages for the werehog in the game. I also like that you had to search in every stage for items that you could whatch or either litsen too in the extra's menu
it makes the game more fun and challenging. But the best part of the game or stages is Holoska or Spagonia the 2 best day time stages in the game you have to play them to understand what i mean.
Tips and cheats: To find the video of the ice cream scene just go to Apotos stage and play the first werehog level and instead of going forward go backwards and you will find it! On the Perfect dark Gaia were you fight as super sonic make sure you have at least 30 rings and dash as much as you can untill you can super dash and attack dark gaia. When dark gaia attacks with all his arms when you play as super sonic make sure youre in the middle if you are in the middle you don't take anydamage
overall the game is fun and its a great step for Sega the game gets a 8.0/10!
