There haven't been a decent sonic game for a long time, don't expect this to be any different...

Okay, i am going to make this short and simple. This game is not worth playing. Although the Daylight Sonic part is kind of fun, but you will spend most of your time as Dark Sonic. It's like they want to punish you for buying this crappy game! You begin the game with 3 lifes (which is not a problem with light sonic), but it becomes a problem later on for dark sonic when you need to start jumping around and start dying! And you can only get extra life by opening doors in the temple which need a lot of sun or moon metals ( which you won't have enough until 2/3 of the game). Overall, the dark sonic part is just torture; but the light sonic part can be enjoyable and have a bit replay value since you can find different routes that lead to cool tracks. But the bosses would be one of the biggest letdown of the game (not that there's much left to letdown). Spoiler below......
p.s. the story is incredibly bad too....you kind of know the ending when the story just started




































Okay. Except the final boss, other bosses are extremely easy! Especially the one for dark sonic. Most of dark sonic's boss are easily kill by activating something in the area which hurts about 1/6 of the boss's health. It is possible to get through every dark sonic's boss without getting hurt. As for light sonic's boss, all you need is know when to jump, or you can just try to gain at least 1 ring everytime you get hit and you will be fine ( you will only die when you get hit with 0 rings on you,like any other sonic game).
And the end boss? don't even get me started. You will see chip combine a bunch of temples into a robot.......it cannot get any lamer.....or so you would've think. Then you are to fight the dark gaia with that robot thing. OMG! is the game not boring enough that you need add a boring boxing match at the end? It's not like we are in the sixtys for god sake! anyway, after that you will be doing a little bit of light sonic which is probably the best part about the end boss. At the end, you will turn into golden sonic....wow, finally!......and you get to fly around the screen like a 2D GAME!!! Collecting rings to attack!? Seriously...... And you cannot just attack when you got enough rings, you need to get directly in front of the dark gaia's eyes to trigger the attack sequence.....which sometimes take minutes just to find the right spot. Anything, if you've read this far, i hope i've done my job and convince you not to touch this game. because it would be no doubt, one of the worst game you will ever play!
