30+ classic genesis games for 40$?? OH HECK YEAH
--Graphics: These games are OBVIOUSLY dated... the HD ability really brings out the color of the games and makes it look quite notably better then they used to look, but if you are worried about the look of the game this DEFINITELY is not for you. The menu interface is really cool looking and gives you the ability to rate which games you like the most and to sort them by which ever way you choose, kind of like a music play (think I Tunes).
-- Sound: All the classic sounds are perfectly preserved in this title... which means your not going to get epic voice overs, or ground shaking explosions, but you get the priceless nostalgic feelings you got when you played these games 10-15 years ago.
--Game play: Each games controls are responsive and are very simple. Most games only use around 2 buttons with the directional pad or your chose of using the analog stick. One thing Sega kept was the games classic difficulty... these games are TOUGH and unforgiving. If you lose... you start over, they did however add a save feature which allows you to save WHERE EVER you want which is really nice.
--Story: Get over that, there are 30+ stories for you to pick and choose from and your bound to like one of them. Some are non existent but others are rich in detail like the Shinning Force games.
--Overall: Great addition to any old school gamers collection. If you enjoyed playing any of the slew of games in this collection then this is really worth checking out. I would have really like to see a bit different of selection of games considering the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 is almost identical. One classic in particular I would love to see: Earth Worm Jim.
