If you had a Genesis, then this is at least a rental.

If I hadn't sold all my Genesis games to buy a Playstation when it first came out, I probably wouldn't have played this, but I'm glad I picked it up. You will probably only appreciate this if you had a Genesis obviously, or if you like retro games (NES fanboys need not apply lol). With that said, many of the games are incredibly frustrating, like Comix Zone (which was an awesome game) or Shinobi (another awesome but hard game) but they bring back the memories. Overall, check it out a rental store if you had a Genesis, you'll thank yourself for a trip down memory lane. After a couple days though, you may be glad that we don't have games like these anymore, as many of them are brutal with no continues and just plain unfair. You may realize that a trip down memory lane is like having family over at your house, it's great for a while, but then you want to move on, and quickly for God's sake, I don't think I can start off on World 1 in Sonic again!
