Not perfect, but still a great game.

It is almost impossible to give Dreamcast's Soul Calibur any other definition besides perfect. Unfortunately, after so many years of waiting, its second edition, Soul Calibur, did not offer the fans the same astonishing features.
I am not saying that it is a bad game, but it is not as revolutionary as the previous one.
The gameplay stays in the same level, some characters lost their charateristics and one gets the feeling that they did not really want to make a classic anymore, but a good sale.
The Weapon Master is a challenge worth doing not only for the features you can unlock, but the level of difficulty is not linear and that can be disappointing for both experienced and beginners.
If you like Fighting Games, you got to have it anyway, but don't expect too much because you won't get it.
