Slice and Dice baby!
Down to buisness, Soul Calibur III is a great game but has a few flaws and similarites to the old games
The gameplay is same old same with the same fighting styles. The weapons are about the same but a bit cooler, its really quite like number 2 and is only different from the jumping ability if your character is a "ninja" class. The game I think is a bit harder in the story mode and is really hard to beat without a little practice, so i really think you shouldn't give up if you get stuck on story mode.
The characters in this game look substantially better in this game than the last. Raphael who looked really prissy and classy in the old game, now looks like an evil quite educated dualist. There are only a few new characters in this one like Siegfried Schtauffen, Rock, Tira and more. They still all wield their great taunts before the battle and the same basic weapons.
There is another game mode that is very boring! It's sort of like an AOE without the fun, except you can fight it out with the other characters not just slash until you lose all your health. Also a new addition is there is a shop where you must buy items and weapons and armor for the create-a-character mode. Create-a-character is really fun and you can be very creative, you can pick from five different classes and between male and female. Then you pick your colours for you character and the clothing and armor and different weapons.
