The 3rd installment of Soul Caliber has just enough to make it an anticipated game we've all been waitin for. You get to create a character of your choice, play The Tale of Souls which was interesting, and also set up a tournament to compete with the best. The new characters are nice and they add a new edge of difficulty to mastering their moves. The graphics are nice to be on the PS2 and slowdown has been taken care of nicely. But there are things that will make you mad about this game. First is the AI when u play all modes of this game. It seems like the AI blocks every move you do. You actually have to feint on some moves to get a lick in. Another idea that plagued this game is not having online play. I think this would of boosted the game up more cause alot of players play this game alone and they would love to take their skills against the world. But in all it's a decent game if you're a fighting game lover like me!
