Soul Calibur 3 really shows how good and how bad a fighting game is. New arrivals in soul calibur 3 are Tira, Setsuka and Zasalamel with these new characters the hunt for soul calibur and soul edge has really just begun. Zasalamel was born into a tribe of immortal beings but he later went against the teachings of his tribe and was banished. Now seraching for a way to free himself from immortality, he searches until one day faces Knightmare who wields soul edge. While they are fighting Zasalamel uses some kind of magic to seperate Siegfried and Knightmare. Now Zasalamel escapes while Knightmare and Siegfried hunt each other down. Well just from the story line, we see how great it is but when you actually play it, it's not all that. Playing with Zasalamel would mean having to eliminate all threats in the story mode and ending with him being killed with soul edge and soul calibur.

The great things about this game were the new game modes include Character creation, Chronicles of the sword and other new additions. In character creation you can create your own character, but the options to do this are very limited. Whereas in Chronicles of the sword, control an army and guard your country. Museum and soul arena are also new game modes. As well as the graphics and speed of the game being improved after finishing all these game modes theres nothing left to do. As for the story mode I think that the pressing of buttons during cut scenes was a great idea. In other fighting games you just sit there watching the cut scene doing nothing. This game is also very addictive because its so good I can't stop playing it. Overall its a great game and should be added to your collection. And finally for those button bashers someone will make a fighting game that means you losing.
