A great game to play. Loads of fun and tons of stuff to do on it that can keep you busy for weeks.The star guests rock!!
In this latest installment of the Soulcalibur series, you play over 20 characters and their quest for the soul swords. I loved almost every one of the stories, but my favorites were Darth Vader's and his apprentice. They fit into the game well, and told how they came. The only problem I had with the story mode is that it is too short. For each character it is only 5 stages, the story is over before you know it. But in the end, it makes up for it with awesome ending cut-scenes.I can also see why each story is so short, mainly cause there are over 20 characters, each with their own story.
The fighting was sweet. You can deliver blows to your opponent and shatter your opponent's armor, which I was really impressed with. Each character's moves and speacial attacks are different and very interactive. It is also very satisfying when you defeat a opponent and listen to your character gloat about it.
Other than story mode, there's arcade mode, where you choose a character and go through 8 stages battling enemies. It is very fun and a real challange. There is also other modes that can keep you busy with this game for a couple of months.You can even have a friend over and battle each other, which is extremely fun and exciting.After each battle you get money, which after you save up can buy loads of extras. Like pics, models,weapons, and more.You can even sign into the Playstation network and battle people over the network.The next best thing is the Character Creation in the game. You can create and customize your very own character!
Overall, this is one of the best games I have ever played.Definitly on my top ten. If you have a PS3 or a xBOX 360(which has Yoda instead of Darth Vader), you should definitly get this game.
