User Rating: 5 | South Park N64
It seems like South Park is not really meant to be in video games because Chef's Luv Shack and South Park Rally were both poorly made. This game is slightly better than the other games, but it still doesn't have a deep experience. Unlike the previous games, this game does have a story. When you first watch the intro, Chef talks to the four kids about how aliens and turkeys were creating havoc on their own town. You can either play as Stan, Kyle, Kenny, or Cartman, but sometimes you have to switch characters for using certain weapons.

When it comes to game play, the controls were well designed, but it's overly repetitive. For example, in the first level of the game, you throw snowballs at turkeys for a very long time. There are a lot of turkeys to throw snowballs at, but sometimes it can be frustrating. You have a health meter, and it determines on how many lives you have left. Sure, you can revive them with specific power-ups, but too many turkeys attack you at one time. There's also no other way to defend yourself either, and just using weapons aren't powerful enough to kill them fast. In the other levels, you throw snowballs at other animals like cows and potato heads. This game needs to have more of a variety to keep it from sinking. There's also a multiplayer mode, but there isn't a lot of variety. You just throw snowballs and weapons at your opponents.

Presentation - 6 The intro music and story is from the TV show, but there aren't a lot of modes to back it up.

Graphics - 6 They are passable for the N64 at least.

Sound - 5 The music and the character voices sound good, but it's overly repetitive.

Game play - 6 The controls are well, but the overall game play is overly repetitive.

Lasting Approval - 1 There aren't a lot of multiplayer options, and the other modes get old pretty fast.
