Editor reviews notwithstanding, this game brought me some enjoyment. That being said, the game as an experience was exceptionally disappointing. I can not escape the feeling that this game was rushed out of the developers' door a year early. A lack of polish aside, this game played as if major features were missing. The controls are obtuse, dodging enemy fire is difficult at best, and firefights late in the game boil down to making a dent in the enemy lines, dying, respawning, returning to the fight, and making a larger dent in the enemy.

By the end of the game, I simply enabled God mode to experience the entirety of the game's story.
Overall this game is worth checking out on an exceptional sale (like I got through STEAM) if you are a fan of the genre. Otherwise, not so much.
