"Hey Taxi!"
The platforms also get increasingly small as you progress through the game, forcing you to be more precise with your landing. While controlling your taxi, customers will regularly materializes out of nowhere on one of the platforms. When you pick up the customer, they'll tell you where they need to go. If you succeed in getting the customer there without killing both of you in the process, the customer will pay you the fare, and the tip will be dependent on how quickly you deliver the customer. You are also faced with a limited amount of fuel. You can re-fuel, but that takes money out of your profits.
I best remember Space Taxi because of the digitized, sampled speech that was uncommon on C64 games. There are limited lines of speech that the customers will say, such as "Hey Taxi!" when hailing the cab, "Thanks" when you drop them off, and "HEY!" if you accidentally (or intentionally for that matter) run them over. All in all, this was a pretty fun game.
