Another example why SEGA should give up gaming for good...

User Rating: 2.6 | Spartan: Total Warrior XBOX
Spartan: Total Warrior is a title that you'd assume that the actual game would live up to. As it turns out, your "Spartan" is just a wanna-be warrior... more like a wanna-be Dynasty Warrior. You can see the influence of the Dynasty Warrior series immediately from the first cut-scene. But once you take control of your warrior, the chaos begins. And I'm not referring to the multitude of Romans attacking the walls of Sparta... I'm talking about the frustrating controls, horrid camera angles and the "scope" at which the camera is placed, and the Dreamcast-like graphics. Your attack style is somewhat similar to Dynasty Warriors, although I do like the stratigic use of the shield defensively and offensively. But, one you get ganged up on, you suddenly can't see your hero amidst the onslaught of enemies, which occurs quite frequently and is very frustrating. And these Romans must have a cloning generator, because they don't stop coming. Ever.

If you're looking for a good hack n' slasher, stick with the Dynasty Warriors series. Don't even bother renting this one... or you'll pray to the Gods for your money back.
