I got this game today and played the 1st mission, it was much longer than i thought, taking me around 20 mins to complete it. I was throughly pleased with this as many games these days are quite short.

Your name is Spartan and you must help Ares (god of war or something) and in return he will gift you in battle. Some games get marked down for reppetive gameplay but in Spartan your too busy trying to beat your combo to care.

Everything in this game is well rounded, the graphics, sound,gameplay and value are superb. And should definately be higher than Gamespot's score of 7.1 (what were you thinking !?)

In all Spartan shapes up to a very good game and should be brought if you own the Gamecube because its not the best but definately getting there. Well worth its £17.99 price tag off of www.play.com (uk customers).
