Could've been better

I wasn't really looking forward to this game, but a friend told me it's pretty cool so I borrowed it from him. It was a bit better than I expected but still wasn't that good of a game. At first, the fighting felt fun, there was lots of blood and every enemy had a name. That fun wears thin pretty quickly. The combat gets repetitive and loses its luster fast. Some boss fights are cool, but that's not saying much. The cinematics are boring too.

The graphics weren't bad. They were actually pretty good. The blood effects are nice and there are some parts with some good detail and the game runs at a smooth frame rate. However, there are some blocky textures and character models.

What really bothered me is the sound. The dialogue is pretty dumb and doesn't really fit the time the game takes place in. The voice acting sucks and so does the repetitive music. What the characters tell you is repeated way too much and can get aggravating at some points.

In all, the game was OK but fans of hack n'slash games should look somewhere else. If you want some excellent hack n'slash games, I'd recommend "God Of War", "Shadow Of Rome",etc...
