Spear Of Destiny is a very little-known game. It was a very basic sequel to Wolfenstein 3D that had similar gameplay. When I say similar, I mean very similar. The gameplay is exactly the same. There isnt really anything new about the game either apart from some new textures and music and slightly more complex level design. Why have I given the game a 7/10 then? Because I love Wolfenstein 3D. Sure, SOD may bring no new gameplay what so ever but I love Wolf 3D's gameplay in the first place. Keep in mind, that if you didnt like Wolf 3D then you wont like this either. Essentially your just playing the same game over again- it's more of an add-on than full sequel which is just plain lazy. However, id Software were probably working on the masterpiece that is Doom while working on this so I cant really complain. If are a Wolf fan then you'll enjoy SOD so I recommend it to fans of the original, it'll keep you occupied for a good few hours.
Pros: + More of the decent gameplay + More complex level design + New music and textures
Cons: - No new enemies, weapons etc - Exactly the same gameplay
