You would be surprised at how much fun this game can be even if it lacks in some categories.
The gameplay is very similar to the first game. You can swing from building to building, beat up thugs to your heart's desire, and solve puzzles and smaller in-level missions. This time around, Spidey has the chance to go on the ground (ooh, the thrill !!), as well as take out his foes with ice webbing and electric webbing. There are also some heart-thumping moments in the game, like where you have to clear the path for a runaway airplane so that it doesn't take too much damage and then finish the job by jamming its propellers with webbing. There is more of a challenge iin this game, and you will be required to use your head and develop some skill to conquer some of the challenges the game has to offer. I especially like how some of the boss fights in this sequel let you use your surroundings to your advantage, like web-yanking crates onto Shocker and soaking Sandman with a pipeload of water.
The graphics, I think, are ever so slightly better than they were in the first game, but they are still far from perfect. Character models have more of a natural shape, and the colors and textures of objects more detailed, but there certainly isn't anything great about them. The sound is okay, but sometimes the overall quietness kind of drains the experience.
Enter: Electro is not a bad game in any way, shape, or form. There isn't anything especially great about it, but there's enough action packed into the short story to go around for everyone. I'd definitely recommend giving this game a run-through, because you might find yourself popping it back in to play it again even several years from now.
