A spiderman game that can spread its wings, due to lack of constraint from the films.
Story and characters: 9/10
Spiderman, spiderman, does whatever a spider can! Spidey is great in this game, and gos on an original story, involving all of the bosses and characters that fans of the comic books will remember. There is lizardman, shocker, electro, the list gos on. There are also characters from x-men making a cameo appearance too, namely beast.
Graphics: 8/10. Not of the same level as other games, but they are really good and all of the characters are instantly recognisable. Spidey looks great and web slinging is presented well. The goons and henchman arent fantastic, but new york city is good and looks quite detailed. It is also all in 3D which is good
gameplay: 9/10.
Great web slinging action. You can swing on webs, shoot webs, turn your fists into webs, zipwire on webs, you can basically do any type of web action that you would ever imagine. You also beat them up with fists and kicks. And firing webs at people from other buildings and watching them scream 40 seconds later when it hits them is funny.
Sound: 8/10
Stan Lee does a cameo role as a narrator! It is great and adds a level of realism to the game. Spiderman is also voiced by the same actor who did the cartoons, which also draws you in like it is a real spiderman episode on the television.
lifespan: 20 hours plus. There is a lot to unlock, including multiple costumes for the hero from the comics, including the symbiote costume worn by venom
