Not your typical Spidey game... This one delivers more...

My girlfriend bought this game for me so it wasnt a choice of mine, but she knows I love Spider-Man. Besides that I was shocked at what this game had to deliver. It has some serious potential. Even though it is more than I expected it does have its problems. The good side of the game is its graphics and gameplay. Other than learning to control spidey is difficult the rest of the game has some really cool options that past spidey games havent offered. First off being real time and actually doing things your way it makes you feel more like you are Spider-Man. You can either fight the missions or just deal with street thugs all the time. The game never ends. The bad side though is the difficulty of learning all the moves spidey can do. They introduce them all to fast for how long the game last. Things should have been introduced slighty slower allowing you to master each of spidey's moves. Another negative side is when the game loads up. There really is no intro menu to select options. You pop the game in and BOOM your already watching the intro to the campaign and your spidey! Plus the training intro is very short and doesnt give you a good grasp of what spidey can really do. All in all the game is a suprise and has some great potential for future spidey games.
