I think that Spider-man 2 is a pretty good game. Except there's one problem. IT'S TOO FREAKIN BORING SOMETIMES!!! To advance to the next chapter, you have to complete a couple of goals, and get hero points. They're experience points that help you get to the next chapter, and you can buy upgrades at the spidey store! Ooooo! Ok, so the reason why the hero points thing is so repetitive is because there are green dots on the map if you swing around the city. Or purple dots. The green dots require you to talk to people who are like statues. Their mouths don't move, and they have a very plain expression on their face. They yell out, "ZOMGZ!!!! SPIDER-MAN ROBOTS ARE ATTACKING PEOPLE!!! ZOMGZ!!!!!" and then you zip to the red dot with a bunch of exclamation marks which you have to kill. After that is done, some other guy will say "ZOMGZ!!!! ROBBERS ARE HOLDING UP AN ARMORED CAR!!!" and you just go there and beat the baddies up. And for the purple dots, you just go to the dot and a robber might be stealin a woman's purse, or a little annoying girl might start crying and say "my balloon!!!" and you have to go up, and grab the balloon. then the mom or dad says "what do we say?" expecting the girl to say thank you, the girl might say "yay balloony!" or "balloons float, and sometimes they pop! ZOMGZ!!!" You might think this isn't that boring, but trust me. It gets VERY boring at times. But you know, this game isn't really that bad. The punching and kicking combos work great, and the targeting system works pretty well. This is one of the high points for the game. Or shall I say, the high point for the game. The graphics kinda suck, considering the poor textures of the people, and the buildings looking like gray blobs from far away. The web swing sounds and the music is pretty good, the music gets more intense when you rescuing people or saving the city from some bad dude thingys. The gameplay is great, the graphics are not that good, the sound is pretty good, and I give this game a 7.8. it would do you good to rent it, but maybe not buy it, unless you want to get all of the extras. This game is better than Spider-man the movie game by a long shot though. So depending on what you want, rent it first to see if this is your type of game.
