This is one of the greatest superhero games of all time. One of the greatest games of all time. With its immersive gameplay, fluid control, outstanding graphics, and detailed story, Spider-Man on the Nintendo 64 is just simply a blast to play.

The pre-rendered cut scenes on the PC, PlayStation, and Dream cast are, quite frankly, not that appealing to the eye. The comic-book style cut scenes on the Nintendo are fantastic because they make you feel like you are actually in a comic-book story.

That's what I wanted to get to next. The story. It actually does flow like a comic-book. It's so over-the-top that it's just classic. I won't give anything away, but they really took time and effort to develop a believable, solid story.

Not without its flaws, Spider-Man is a delight and I would dust it off and pop it in my Nintendo 64 any day. If you can find it at some used game store, I'd pick it up. I don't say this lightly, but it is one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had, and I don't think you should miss out on it.
