One of the best Spider-Man games to date. The story is definately one of the best.
The story starts off with Spider-Man being framed for a crime that he didn't comit and Eddie Brock upon finding out, losing control and becoming Vemon once again...to impose his own brand of lethal justice on Spidey. This leads to Vemon kidnapping Mary Jane which unraves an even nastier scheme by a couple of much worse supervillians and finds Vemon and Spidey as unlikely allies once again. The combination of villians and allies featured in the game was awesome and tailored made for fans of Spider-Man.
My Breakdown:
What's Good:
- Pretty awesome to hear the original Spider-Man theme song after so many years
- The ending was pretty funny
- Great cast of characters
- Gameplay is full of variety
- Cool unlockables
- Nice graphics for its time
- Set the bar high on future Spider-Man game
- Stan Lee's Commentaries
What's Not-So-Good:
- The difficulty could be a bit uneven throughout the game
What's Bad:
- Nothing that stands out
In all, Spider-Man was one of the best games that I owned on PSX and is a must play/own for any gamers and Spider-man fan.
