I've played some disappointin' games... but this one takes the taco. And I love the Spidey franchise to death, too...

They use the same engine in this game that they used in part 2. The only thing better about this game is the web-slinging, and a more street-populated New York. Everything else pained me to death to play. The cut-scenes look like a senior citizen dealin' with ol-timers. The fighting has bad camera angles, and the street missions seem like a toddler came up with the ideas. Jeez, what a huge letdown. Even the graphics were garbage. I thought with each game that's made, the graphics engine is increased? It seems like they regressed. This game is better of rented and played within one day. 'Cuz it'll take that fast to beat. If you're curious to an unbelievable extent, then go 'head 'n just rent it. Don't purchase it. It'll be a waste of money regardless of what console you have. I'm usually open-minded about games--and sometimes GameSpot can be a bit harsh, a bit bleek about their ratings, but they are on nothin' but facts this time. It painsd me to play the game. I bet I can't even trade it in for anything. Jeez, the horror...
