There is upgrades,side missions and ofcourse.To make it a all spidey feeling,you might get missions to catch criminals while swinging around.This is a free roam enviroment sort of game.There is also the Black Suit which you can wear only for a limited time but is incredibly powerful.There is also unlockables.After you complete the story mode you still can swing around though it starts to grow boring then.However if your a must-complete-the-game-whole type,this might be your thing because there is 1000 metorite shards and 100 or so emblems scattered across the city and is pretty hard to gather them all.The graphics are quite good though the voice acting it pathetic.Really pathetic to be honest.The game is also some what different from the movie.Or rather,very different.There is something like a war sort of thing with 3 powerful gangs.You,ofcourse help the cops and you have to do missions to rid the area of criminals and let the cops take control.Though ofcourse the criminals will fight back and doing tasks for the police might strengthen their areas and stuff.Webs also don't go straight into the air but it depends on the nearest building so you have to be near a building to even start swinging.So in this game you can swing like in the movie.You'll also see certain familiar spots like the railway track at which spidey stopped the train in Spider-Man 2 though it looks smaller than I thought.
