This game shows that Game Developers are already treating the PS2 Badly.

User Rating: 2.7 | Spider-Man 3 PS2
Spider-man 3 was an Epic Film. The games are just as epic... for the PS3, XBOX 360 and PC. For a PS2 game, this was absolutely appalling.

Gameplay: Do whatever a spider can? For the Spider-man 2 game, this was true, with a variety of button mashing moves and great web attacks. The combat on this game is mediocre and pathetic. Combos are repetitive bores, and the Web moves have gone down the drain. Web swinging is basically mind-numbingly obscene. Gone is the faithful boost button, gone is the exhilaration of swinging through Manhattan like in Spider-man 2. Swinging is slow, flawed (You latch onto nothing when going over Central park) and useless. The only thing that is better is Web Zipping, as it is faster. Graphics: Spidey has a Plastic Sheen on him, so do the buildings. In fact, the graphics are so horrendous I cannot mention them all in this review.

Sound: After hearing the same little fanfare over and over, you feel like you want to smash this game apart.

Value: For a £49.99 game, this is offensive. With not nearly as good graphics and gameplay as it's Next-Gen brothers (And even it's predecessors) this game is not worth it. A major gripe is that the Subways and Sewers are not Free Roam.

Overall I advise you all not to buy this game. For the PS2 at least. Save up your money and invest in either a PS3, XBOX 360 or a great computer.
