Exactly like SM2, only prettier, and that's not necessarily bad.

I was a big fan of Spider-Man 2, it's one of my favorite superhero games, and also the most fun sandbox game I've played. I was a little disappointed in Ultimate Spider-Man though, with it's dumbed down move list, simplified swinging, and smaller city. I had high hopes for Spider-Man 3, and am I disappointed in this one as well? Yes and no. The camera is still atrocious, the combat is still repetitive, and weird things still happen with the physics. But, at the same time, the web swinging and exploration is awesome. The much expanded New York is a great playground. I also like how the story doesn't completely mimic the movie, but i wish it had atleast a slightly stronger narrative. The music is very bland as well. I was hoping for a little better visual presentation too. All in all, Spider-Man 3 has its fair share of problems, but the once again the developers nailed what's really great about this series. Now let's see if they can get the rest of it right with this Spider-Man: Friend or Foe.
