MAxiumum Carnage is the story of Cleatus Cassidy and how he became the villain we now know as Carnage. Spiderman teams up with his nemesis Venom to bring down an enemey that is both a threat to them & the world.

Once escaped, Carnage quickly gathers allies in the New York area and starts to try and rule the city. Spiderman & Venom must then break into the Fantasic 4 laboratory to steal...I mean "Borrow" the newly developed "Sonic Gun". The same gun that Spiderman had to use on venom years prior.

The usual band of Marvel superheroes is thrown in to assist Spidey & Venom in the forms of "summons" you can call only after aquiring their respective "summon token".

All in all, this has to be one of the best side scrolling Spiderman beat'em up games that ever came out during that generation of Video Games.

  The symbiote attaches to Spidey, Spidey suit goes black and turns him evil and controls his every aspect. Spidey loses the symbiote and the symbiote then attaches to rival ex-photographer Eddie Brock thus becoming Venom.... Read Full Review
