Not great but not ALL that bad

This game is for those who are true beat em up fans. I am one of those but it doesnt quite leave me with lasting impression. The single player mode is rather boring and is better off duking it out with a friend. The fighting system takes some getting use to and isn't really all that great. There really isnt all that much in the way of replay value except to unlock other characters within the game. But the game is so derivative and gets old quickly that there really isnt any point to. This game looks like it should have come out for the Dreamcast rather than the Xbox. It looks like Sega developed this years ago and then decided to release it now for whatever reason (possibly they were going to cancel the project but realized how far they were in development and decided not to). What bothers me about this game is that it could have been a lot better. It does have some nice tag team moves with a partner which is why it makes it better to battle it out with a friend. Unless your a hardcore beat em up fan looking for a fix on the Xbox, this game is only really worth (at the very best) a rental.
