Unlike most games based off TV shows, this one is actually good and fun.

If you've ever played a game based off a TV show, you know what to expect: bad storyline, crummy music, bad graphics, and boring levels.
But SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom is a great game with a funny story, catchy music, and clever level design.
The game seems to be from right out of the TV show, and it feels like you're playing through an episode. Levels are surprisingly clever in design, where you need to switch between Patrick, Sandy, and SpongeBob.
The music isn't repetitive; it's actually quite catchy, and fits the theme of the show.
You'll have plenty of gameplay time: You'll need to collect 75 out of 100 Golden Spatulas (like Power Stars) to face the final boss. During the credits, you can play through a special level.
Each level is a unique location in Bikini Bottom, and getting Golden Spatulas never feels tedious. The cartoony landscapes match the show.
The only problem with this game is mediocre graphics. SpongeBob's mouth seems like a different object than himself: while he talks, his mouth will stretch his cheeks out. His eyes have crummy graphics too: his pupils seem to be 2D images on his 3D eyeballs, and appear all pixelly. There is the same problem with some signs: words are all pixelly. Objects have jagged edges, and distant objects are severely lacking in detail.
However, the important thing is that the gameplay is always fun and never boring, and that's what's truly important. This is a game anyone can have fun with.
