Spongebob challenges Hit & Run for title of greatest tv-based video game in history.
Although the dialogue is for children you can just skip over it and have fun. Even if you loath Spongebob and hate his very soul because of the annoying crybaby he represents on TV, you'll love this game. I'm talking from a first-hand perspective here.
The plot is bland but the levels are pure magnificence and you will love just about every one of them. Spongebob is a great platformer that will make you want to play it 'til the cows come home.
The levels themselves rival the best Rareware has to offer. From Jellyfish Fields to Dream Land, Battle for Bikini Bottom is indisputably a great game.
Flaws are however they didn't tweak it enough that some of the dialogue could please both children and non-children. This is especially true at the end of the game where only true gamers could make it due to the epic final boss.
