It's a pretty decent game, but it's not the great evolution Sim some of us were expecting.

Don't get me wrong this is not a bad game, and I really like the space stage, but I think that was what the game should have been. Let me put it bluntly: when I saw the preview of this game in a local gaming magazine I was hyped and couldn't wait to try it. Luckily I rented it first, because I had some bad experience with "in theory" it will be great and "in practice" is mediocre.
My rating is pretty simple: I will rate every stage and tell you why it's like that and not any other way, in my opinion of course and then the final one I will obtain by adding up the ratings and dividing them by 5.
1. Cell Stage:
a. Rating: 3
b. Why? Well it's pretty simple: the idea is great, honestly, but the way it's presented sucks. This is because it's highly repetitive and nothing much changes except your sizes and thankfuly it ends pretty quickly.
2. Creature Stage
a. Rating: 5
b. Why? Well kinda the same reason, but this one gets and extra 2 points for you being able to customize your creature, which I find rather fun, but we're not here for this only so it can only save it a lil'bit.
3. Tribal Stage
a. Rating: 5.5
b. Why? Well it's mediocre strategy: send your creatures to get food, make creatures, get more food, more creature and in between this ensalve/ally other tribes and get better equipment.
4. Civilization Stage
a. Rating: 6
b. Why? Well like the tribal stage it consists of roughtly the same tactic, but now your decisions influence the game, but it's still mediocre and it looks like a rip-off of Sid's Civ
5. Space Stage:
a. Rating: 8
b. Why? Well it's immersive for the first part, but you can feel a bit of dejá-vu. It's not that bad tough and destroying ecosistems is a great way to pass time >:). It's still not perfect tough and I strongly suggest that if this is what you're going for you should get a decent space sim. I strongly recommend something along the lines of: Distant Worlds, Homeworld or, if you really want soemthing deep and you're into the combat part of space, X3 or any of the series'games.

And the final rating for the game is: 5,5
Sorry meights, but that's the game for you. The first 4 stages are more like an intro for the space stage and this one isn't that bright either, getting an 8 with indulgence.
