A decently bad expansion.
Maxis decided to create an expansion pack for Spore called, "Spore Creepy & Cute". It is marketed to have over 100 new items. I have the case on my lap and I'm just going to type what it says. "60 new parts, 48 new paint options and 24 new animations." Great! New options, but wait, why did I spend $20 on 60 new parts only for the creatures? Animations, I could care less for animations that I'll never need in game and cannot use in game. I do feel like I got robbed of my money. Not much comes with the Spore expansion pack. It focuses on the creatures and nothing else. It would have been good if it had added more than 60 new parts, I think over 200 would satisfy me. What bugs me the most is that some of the parts are almost identical to the original parts. They just twisted an old part in a different angle or made a skin shinier. Yes they did add some interesting parts and animations, but they could have done soo much more and that's where this expansion fails to deliver.
Seriously I'm beginning to think Maxis is out for money instead of satisfaction for the customer. This is a serious disappointment in expanding a unique game Spore. I enjoy the game but I wish it had more and the Spore Creepy & Cute expansion does not have much at all.
