You won't believe me: I liked the game! o_O

I have to admit, I've never played other Spyro-titles before and I didn't expect too much from the game when I rented it from a friend, but it actually was fun to play! Of course the story is bad, but it’s no RPG or some other game, that should focus on good storylines. It's just running around, exploring the areas and being happy about the hundreds of collectable jewels. Some tasks are quite tough though and can get on your nerves. But the game is not completely linear, which means you can skip some tasks and do other things first. While exploring and doing minigames you catch dragonflies that give you the power to use devices, which will allow you to access new worlds. It doesn't matter which dragonflies you have, just how many. The graphics are nothing special but bearable if you like friendly colorful worlds. I've read in reviews, the game would not run smooth, but my (PAL-) version did. Only the loading time is truly exceeding long. I didn't notice that the gameplay was as bad as the other reviews told either. It was fine for me and I would actually recommend buying *Spyro: Enter the Dragon Fly" if it is cheap. Perhaps do not do so, if you are a jump 'n run-pro but for a beginner it is nice!
