Amazing!
The graphics are amazing: You can tell how deep or tightly packed the snow is just by looking at how deep your board is.
Sound is also very well done, with the announcer and character voices very clear and at the time you would expect to hear them. The ONLY problem I've found with the sound is that sometimes the announcers echo can be a little too "well done," which leads to some of her speech being uncomprehensable, but it isn't very important anyways.
The “main” part of this game is to unlock all 3 peaks while winning a gold medal in each of the events. Some of these events are pretty hard to beat, but it shouldn’t pose much of a difficulty for anyone who is willing to stick to it. As soon as I got the game I was able to turn it on and play a race, figuring out the controls as I went along - it is easy to get into.
The controls are also amazing and seem very natural. It is very easy to pull off all the tricks you want to (as long as you have enough air), as well as pull off “Uber” tricks, or the Special tricks of this game.
Overall, I would say this is a great game for any gamer interested in sports, and even for those who don’t care much for snowboarding. This game is very easy to get into, and will last you a long time as far as playability. I recommend anyone who has a Gamecube and the slightest care about sports to pick this game up.
