The 3rd installment in the SSX series is a big success, improving on virtually every category that exists.

To begin, there is almost nothing negative to say about SSX 3 at all. This game is by far the best snowboarding game out there. With brand new characters, spectacular tricks, a large variety of clothes, new tracks, as well as an all-new look to the SSX series, this game surpasses the previous installments in every way, shape, and form.

You are given three peaks on one gigantic mountain, each with their own tracks, features, and hazards. You are given the ability to free-roam down the mountain and choose with paths to take in order to lead you to specific events, or you can take the lift or a plane to any point on the three peaks. Altogether, it takes about a half hour to shred down the entire mountain. The tracks are nice and long just like the previous games, and the graphics are incredible. The races, trick challenges, duels, and superpipe events are thrilling and intense. There is a lot more freedom in this brand new open-world system, which makes SSX 3 all the better. The sound effects are outstanding, and the soundtrack gives you an awesome variety of fast-paced songs to listen to during your downhill jam.

There are very few limitations in SSX 3. There may be less of your favorite characters to choose from, but your can still play as them via the use of cheat codes. SSX 3 has proven to be the best in the series thus far and overall. This game is a must-own and an incredible snowboarding game.
