The role in SSX On tour is to become a Black Diamond Rockstar, which is a goal in itself, especially with the huge single player mode. Talking about single player mode, i'd like to state that i love the fact that you play as your own created character. It definately make you feel your achieving somethin when you move up the rankings. Create a character has alot of customerisation making it possible to pretty much make character suited to the personality you want, whether it be hip hop or straight hardcore rock. The single player mode is also great, i like the fact that the stats are dependant upon the boards you buy and the challenges set during this mode are somewhat amazingly creative. Such tasks as escaping ski patrol or out running your opponent add alot more to this game than just racing and tricks. Multiplayer mode is pretty much the same as single apart from the ranking tables and you can choose some old and new SSX characters. The uber tricks are also taken to the next level in this game allowing you to tweak it. These are named MONSTER tricks, which throw reality into the dirt and run over it with a JCB countless times! They are amazin and bring the game to life.
Sorry if this review is so long, but this game has alot of good points, one being is lasting appeal. This game is crammed with so much, it will take a very long while to 100%. The music has a range of different style allowing it to appeal to fans of different genres.
Bottom line is this game one to own! Play it, Live it, Love it!!!!!!
