Cool gameplay. Nice Network gaming

I have played this series since the PS2 version. I believe "Cool Boarders" was the thing on PS 1. This is the better of the last two version of this game. The game play is easy to handle, but the level are challenging enough to keep to trying for the gold. The world networking is awesome. You can get credits even when not playing. Your friends can challenge you online or play against your ghost when you are not online. You have to earn a lot of credits to buy the really cool and useful items, but if you play frequently, the credits add up quickly.
The only drawback is sometimes you get caught in between some rocks and/or trees and you have to rewind to get out of it. It seems some of the moves are hard to pull off - the AI players get 2,000,000 pts. in the first 1/8 of the course and you are steadily playing catch up and sometimes to no avail. I miss the half-pipe.
It's a great game, very challenging and the ghost network thingy is really cool. If you are into snowboarding this game is for you.
