A good but flawed game if your into starfox buy it, but if you just want to play it rent it.

Star Fox: Assualt many people say it's a bad game and that the on-foot missions screwed it up, but they aren't that bad. I have to admit the ship missions are some of the best(even though there's only a few.) but the on-foot missions provide some nice variety. The controls on foot are a little wonky but ther not horrible. The only real control problem is the landmaster tank, it slow and clunky and aiming is hard in it. There's anice variety in levels ranging from fortuna to space stations, you know stuff you would expect from star fox. There's a nice amount of weapons machine-guns, rocket launchers, and grenades, even a sniper rifle(though it's not used in many situations.). The game isn't really hard it's just that on foot the sheer amount of enemies ban overwhelm you. The graphics aren't great, not as good as star fox adventures, but their pretty good. The ship missions where it's on a rail are classic way to get star fox nostalgia. The voices in the game are good though your teamates repetitive comments do get boring. Your teamates in the game aren't too smart and it seems like your costantly getting them out of trouble. There's some good extra's to earn if you earn medals on the single player game by keeping teamates alive, and doing good. Usually it's just multiplayer extra's. The multiplayer's fun if you got four friend because the levels ar kifnd of big. Nice hectic fun, ships blasting, tanks rolling, weapon's blazing. Overall Star Fox: Assualt is a good game that could have used a few tweaks to make a great one.
