Starfox is back in a new game on the Gamecube. Developed by Namco this game offers very short fun but with many faults.

User Rating: 7.3 | Star Fox: Assault GC
Gameplay: Namco has done a partly good job at the game with trying to offer varied missions, but the ground combat gets boring after a while. Though the flying missions are brilliant as all ways so why are there only two of them?!?!

Graphics: Slippy Toad still looks like a fool so no difference there, but Namco have done a good job with the graphics, the cutscenes look good and gameplay is pleasing to the eye. Also no slowdown in any of the battles which is very good. So a good job all round then.

Sound: Not much to say really the battles have there blips and zaps and the guns sound meaty. Plus the music is good but that remixed Star fox tune really starts to grate after the 100th time you hear it in game.

Value: Namco, Namco, tut tut when I buy a game with £40 I expect more than 10 hours gamplay, sure I could play it on a harder setting but thats not the point is it. Also the multiplayer is fun but offers nothing special and the options are limiting.

So there we go my review of Star Fox Assault, in conclusion it is a good game but rent it first, or if your desperate to buy it get a pre owned or reduced copy as the game will not last too long.
